I spoke with Bald Knob WR Deshawn Gulledge a little earlier, and he informed me that he is hearing from several schools to include Arkansas State.
He holds offers from OBU, Kentucky Christain University, Arkansas Tech, UAM, and a preferred walk on offer from Arkansas.
He spoke about what he is hearing from A-State
"If anything Arkansas State has showed me a lot of interest," said Gulledge "They came by my school they talk to me on a weekly basis checking up on me I've visited went to football games as a recruit. They have talked a little bit (about an offer). They got a new OC (Buster Faulkner) and he wants to see me on campus at a camp so I'm going for it July 15th and hopefully it'll settle it right there."
He said that UCA is showing considerable interest as well.
"When the UCA QB coach came by he said when they saw me on campus they were gonna offer me. He said that I was an amazing football player and they wanted me."
I will update his progress following the camp in a few weeks. Gulledge is ranked #19 in the ArkansasVarsity.com Top 50 for 2017.
