Classification Breakdowns

A few tidbits:

Don't count out Fountain Lake. Their nonconference schedule was a gauntlet. They started 0-3 last year with the same murderer's row to begin the season, yet they made the semifinals. This is a senior-laden bunch who knows how to win.

This may be El Dorado's best team since Scott Reed took over. It doesn't bode well for those who have aspirations of dethroning the Wildcats in 6A. Personally, after watching Lake Hamilton have no answers in the second half against PA's huge offensive line and Cover 2 scheme (PA played man in the first half and got torched), I really believe the Wildcats will take care of business on Oct 21st when the Wolves go to El Dorado. The Cats have a huge offensive line and play lots of two-deep over the top.

Texarkana has two problems: no QB and the inability to finish drives. They move the ball well between the 20s but fizzle once in the red zone. If they don't solve those issues this could wind up being the Hogs' worst season in a long time.
