Each week ArkansasVarsity.com honors a Player of the Week, but WE NEED YOUR HELP! We need you to post legit stats on the player or players you feel should be considered. We will announce the POTW each Tuesday morning.

Fans, Coaches, or even teammates are eligible to submit players names.

Norphlet QB Michael Tipton accounted for 441 yds total offense and 7 TDs in a 45-33 win over Parkers Chapel. He was 15/20 through the air for 291 yds and 5 TDs and carried 21 times for 150 yds and 2 TDs.

El Dorado RB Marque Burris carried 23 times for 217 yds and a touchdown in El Dorado's 41-7 win over Texarkana. He has rushed for 918 yds and 9 TDs on the season.

Parkers Chapel RB Phillip Hay: 18 carries for 166 yds and 2 TDs in the Trojans' loss to Norphlet.

El Dorado QB Lucas Reed: 10/11 for 168 yds and 3 TDs, and also scored a rushing TD.

El Dorado WR Wendell Thompson: 5 catches for 99 yds and Reed's aforementioned 3 TDs.

Junction City DB Shaquille Hunter: 4 interceptions, returning two for TDs (returns of 46 and 19 yds) in the Dragons' 28-6 win over Strong.

Smackover RB Deonta Baker: 25 carries for 220 yds and a TD in the Buckaroos' 27-24 win over Lafayette County.

Has now passed for over 1000 yds with 12 TD's and only one INT.

A few I've received via email

Pine Bluff QB Jordan Humphrey ran the ball four times for 89 yards and three touchdowns in a win over J.A. Fair.

McGehee quarterback Deondrai Haynes threw for more than 150 yards and a touchdown and had two rushing touchdowns in a win over Hamburg.

East Poinsett County ATH A.J. Turner had four offensive touchdowns and 18 tackles in a win over Augusta.
