Based on the "perception vs. reality" rule, the first two weeks of the season are usually the lowest prediction percentages of the season, although the past week was above average % for a week 2. The numbers usually start to settle in more by weeks 3 and 4.

For those of you who are new to the site this year, the GPR is based on performance, not record. For example, a current 0-2 team playing tougher opponents close may hold more weight than a 2-0 blowing out weaker opponents. Many times we see human polls not hold teams accountable for close victories against weak opponents, and not reward teams for close losses against strong opponents. I have always had issues with the human polls for these reasons. The GPR is designed to hold teams accountable and reward teams.

I wish your team the best of luck this season!

7A, 6A, and 5A are going to be fun to watch this year for sure. 3A is interesting to me because I think it is wide open. 2A has a few teams like England, Des Arc, and Hampton who I think could make things interesting.
