Five Maumelle Players Ink NSD Letters

Congratulations to the following Maumelle Hornet players who signed National Letters of Intent to play college football.

Dashaire Ford-Burton - WR - Southern Arkansas University

Nathan Juhl - OL - University of Arkansas-Monticello

Houston Motes - TE - Arkansas Tech University

Jonathon Reyes - QB - Iowa Wesleyan University

Jaylon Smith - RB - Iowa Wesleyan University

Maumelle had a ton of talent this past season, and has plenty coming back. One thing that impressed me when I saw them was the absolute size advantage they have over so many other teams. If they continue to work hard they are going to give the 5A fits.

They have two SEC level players this next class. OL Andrew Chamblee and DL Nico Davallier (Dah-vee-ay).

If they can find a QB to replace Reyes, they will be a threat to PA for that 5A Central. Need to sure up the defense at DB and LB though too.
