My apologies for lack of updates over the past few days. Between a family member who had a very serious accident that required an immediate pace maker to keep her alive, then her lungs collapsing it's been rough. On top of that, I found out that I tore a quad muscle after my knee surgery, and I'll be having yet another surgery on the 26th to repair that.
I will do my absolute best to get out and cover games after that surgery. The doctor said I should be able to get around on crutches pretty well.
I could have put it off until after football season, but then I have basketball season. It's much easier to walk on crutches at a football game than it is to go up and down bleachers in basketball season. I'm looking at a 4-6 week recovery time, but he said he thinks I may only be on crutches about 2-3 weeks. It isn't a bad tear, but one that must be repaired.
