Texarkana dropping to 5A could be cause for concern for many in the classification. What happens in Greenwood drops back down too with them being the smallest 6A school?

Poor Haskell Harmony Grove is having to go to 4A. That could be a death blow to their program like it was for Bauxite. We might see the battle of the losers each year when they play.

Rison is about to be in a lot of trouble. They couldn't get the job done when they dropped back to 2A and now it looks like they will be 3A for some time. If they are in the same conference with Dollarway, Junction City, Smackover, and McGehee they will be lucky to finish 3rd-4th with that ancient offense they run.

Fordyce dropping to 2A could be good for them. They might be good enough to win a title there.

Dollarway dropping to 3A is one I will have my eyes on. They have competed well in 4A, and could be a legit contender in 3A for a state title.

Texarkana is another one for sure. Barry Norton is a very capable coach, and I think he will do big things there.

There is a rumor out there saying that Pulaski Academy petitioned the AAA to move up to Class 6A in the 2018-2020 cycle. I just spoke with Kevin Kelley, and this is not true. It's nothing more than a rumor.
